Not a question. Just wanted to say thank you for expanding our horizons about trees and related topics. Saw the big(gest) palm with double coconuts you guys highlighted in an episode while we stopped by the Missouri Botanical Gardens and I got way more excited about it than anyone else. Wish I could post a pic and tag you guys.
My mom's cousin lives in rural Italy and has a tree of heaven invading the area just outside their place. It's supporting some lantern flies and totally harshing the vibes of their Italian plaza. He's taken a pair of shears to the stem, but it just sprouts right back up every year. Full kudos for resiliency, but how would he stop the tree from coming back next season? You can't dig because this is a historic roman plaza, and you can't use pesticides because they're illegal in Europe. Thanks, also come visit any time. Monteluco is a breathtaking forest and many times worth the hike. Alex, best gnocchi I ever had.
